Rounded corners in Android layouts

To get rounded corners for layouts or layout elements in Android you can use the shape drawable to stay flexibel without the need to create Nine-Patch-Drawables everytime your layout changes a bit. See the Documentation-Section for all attributes.

Implementation example, Dashboard Button:

endomondo for 10 cents in the android market! go for it!

I don’t use endomondo at the moment but i used it before i started monitoring my heartrate with adidas micoach and it is no doubts the best fitness app om the market!

You HAVE to have it ;) and you won’t regret at a price of 10 cents during the 10 billion downloads android market promo!

The developers deserve the advertising and i hope they get paid fair for the deal :)

I just noticed that after watching anaglyph pictures for an hour, my eyes still see through colour filters although i put the red/cyan glasses away.
If i close one eye, the other will still see a red or cyan tinted world. If i use both eyes, everything is back to normal :)

It’s getting dark at about 5 pm and earlier. It’s getting colder and colder.
Winter will test my motivation… but i’m preparing myself, winter will have no chance to distract me from my goal.

I reached a really, really important milestone last week. I recorded a run of 26km in 2 hours and 50 minutes. That means: I MADE MY FIRST HALF MARATHON DISTANCE! I’m thinking about adding a race to the training plan. Just to be listed as finisher of a half marathon, so everybody believes me :)

This Sunday a 3 hours run is planned. After driving my car 9h from southern Germany to the north and back this Saturday, the run will be a relief… I hope.

Next week: Regeneration! No long run, no hard intervals training, just refilling the cells for the next 50 workouts of my training plan with short and slow runs (I completed the first 50 workouts this week!).

My new personal bests:

longest run: 2hrs 55mins
most calories per run: 2308cal
longest distance: 25km 960m
